In recent years, China-Philippines bilateral trade has been booming. According to the General Administration of Customs, the total value of China's imports and exports of goods with the Philippines for the whole year of 2022 reached 585.28 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.6%.

Recently, the editor of Zoomasia Logistics followed the goods purchased by a Filipino customer, witnessing the magical journey of it traveling across the sea from China and finally being delivered to the customer's hands in Manila, Philippines, over a distance of 1635 kilometers.

Xiao Gu, an employee of Zoomasia Logistics Yiwu Branch, received goods from a factory in Yiwu. They were ordered by a Filipino customer. At the Zoomasia Logistics Yiwu warehouse, all received parcels must be counted first, measured for size, confirmed for the destination and cargo list. For any goods in question, they must be unpacked and re-inspected to ensure that the items sent by the customer are consistent with the customs declaration.

The automatic sorting machine is constantly sorting parcels, and packers are also reinforcing different types of goods to prevent damage during transportation. They will eventually be packed according to the condition of the goods. At the same time, the customs clearance procedures for the goods are prepared.

Yiwu is the world's largest small commodity wholesale market, and most goods pass through Yiwu Port for clearance before being transported to Ningbo Port, where they are shipped globally.

Goods from Yiwu are sorted here, and sorters scan the packages, entering the port arrival information into the system. Based on the different delivery addresses, the packages are transferred to local distribution hubs, from where couriers deliver them to the customersdoorsteps.
