Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, China-Philippines relations have developed smoothly overall, with extensive cooperation in areas such as transportation infrastructure, industrial parks, energy, and people's livelihoods.
China has become the Philippines' largest trading partner, primary source of imports, and fourth-largest destination for exports. According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce of China, in the first eight months of 2019, the bilateral trade volume between China and the Philippines reached $38.52 billion, a growth of 6.4%. Among this, China imported $13.15 billion from the Philippines, a decrease of 3.9%, while China's exports to the Philippines amounted to $25.37 billion, an increase of 12.6%.

④ Copper and its products;
⑤ Edible fruits and nuts, citrus fruits or melon peel;
⑥ Plastics and their products;
⑦ Optical, photographic, medical or surgical instruments, etc;
⑧ Mineral fuel, mineral oil, asphalt, mineral wax;
⑨ Animal or vegetable oils and oils;
⑩ Glass and glass products.
